2018 : A Dry Start for the West

The Natural Resources Conservation Service data shows that as of January 2018 most of the Western States have had a dry start to the year. Washington, Idaho, and Montana currently seem to be in the best shape with a near to above normal snowpack while many of the other western states have snowpacks below 50%.  You can follow the links to find out about all the Western states snowpack status along with explanations of snow depth and snow water equivalent.
