Awesome Angle : Silver Star Mountain 8876′

This Awesome angle shows the North side of Silver Star Mountain 8876′ from Goat Peak 7001′ just to it’s Northeast, you can also see the Burgundy Col approach which we took on the far right of the photograph we entered from there dropping down facing the snow each using an ice axe self belay to the snowfield below we then hiked using crampons and ice axe roped up for glacier travel toward the center of the glacier and up into the rocky summit area which had some class  3/4 scrambling. The route is straight forward and the local and surrounding scenery beautiful. I often like to get various angles of view of previously scrambled peaks this one is pretty nice our Silver Star Mountain trip report with photographs can be viewed HERE.

Descending down from Burgundy Col.

Nearing the summit which is mostly a hand tag.
