Dayhiking Burch Ridge & Burch Peak

A break in the wildfire smoke in Central Washington allowed me to get back outside and breathe seemingly fresh air I think I trail ran 6 out of 7 days before squeezing in this close to town hike along a 4000’ Ridge to a 4999’ Peak overlooking the Wenatchee Valley on one side and Swakane Canyon on the other with plenty of background Mountain View’s. I thank long time hiking and backpacking partner Hit the Trail for his company we both had obligations so this was a quick and short trip 7 miles, 1200’ r/t I also used the flat color setting on my GoPro for the first time with no post processing. One of the nicest ridge runs in the Wenatchee area on a totally clear day in peak wildflower season with quite a few impressive old growth pines.
